Q. What if we've already invested in a different training program/vendor?
A. No worries, SCC can be a creative partner to your existing programming. While we have full service capabilities including live performances and group facilitation, online tools and gaming, we can apply our creative model to an exiting program or initiative to help you optimize your investment.

Q. We've used actors before. How is this different?
A. Well we do have access to the world class talent of the Second City, plus we have a tested and proven creative process that enables us to create meaningful content that not only engages but connects to the topics and skills you need your audience to embrace. We offer real skills building, education and awareness programs with a new creative approach not seen in the ethics/compliance arena

Q. What if fun and funny isn't quite right for our situation or culture?
A. That's okay. Our roots are in improvisation and comedy, however, our success comes from our experience in creating engaging content, which doesn't have to be funny, but needs to connect. Our approach draws on key principles that work for Second City, on its stages and in its work with over 400 corporate clients each year:

  • Dialogues beat monologues — don't push content out at people when you can have your audience co-create it with you.
  • Things are only funny when they're true — use humor judiciously to ask tough questions that allow people to dialogue about their job and the situations they face; that's what will make these programs engaging.

Q. What if our company/industry has some unique issues that don't fit the typical ethics/compliance topics?
A. Not a problem. We've been writing custom material for audiences for 50 years and can generate material that fits any subject matter or situation. We work through collaboration, meaning that you will be able to take part in the custom creation process of our material. After a briefing with you, our writers will draft original material based on the work and day-to-day experiences of your employees. You will have full involvement with and approval of all sketches and scenarios to ensure the material hits the mark.

Q. Where/How do organizations typically use your programming?
A. Lots of places:

  • Presentational &mdash We can perform shows, demonstrations and keynotes at live events large and small. We can perform scenic material and demonstrations at a sales meeting or leadership conference, for a few thousand people or at a smaller department meeting.
  • Exercises and Small Group Work &mdash We can develop interactive exercises that bring a situation to life, involves the participants and generates discussion. This experiential learning model keeps participants engaged and helps them think through the often "grey area" situations that can occur, but in a protected environment.
  • Multimedia &mdash We can develop clever content using videos, audio podcasts, and animation to re-enforce behavior in between meetings, workshops and live events.
  • Discovery, Design and Creative Concepting &mdash Not sure what you need? Starting off with a consultative approach, SCC will interview key stakeholders and collect information which we will utilize to develop creative learning platforms that are unique and specific to your organization.

Q. What makes Ethics Live different?
A. Well, lots of things:

  • Creativity and Access to World Class Talent
  • Customization &mdash All programs are customized to your specific situation
  • We're a Collaborative Partner &mdash We can be a creative partner with existing training programs and services
  • Cultural Change Agent &mdash Utilizing creativity and humor symbolizes to the organization that you're approaching things from a fresh perspective, which can add weight and focus to an issue. Our approach improves education and awareness, helping you to create a culture of ethical behavior and compliance.
